Ratings Review: PARTNERS (Season One)

You have to give FX some credit for trying to find comedy success, on cable TV. PARTNERS, starring Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence, has the star power to pull in viewers, but are viewers wanting comedy on cable TV?

The ratings for the series are just the Live+SD numbers, where as FX is now emphasizing the Live+3 ratings. The DVR numbers could show some sort of following for the series, but the lack of reporting from FX tend to indicate that growth after three days, was minimal.

For the season, PARTNERS averaged 720,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49, for the ten episodes.  Since FX runs on a 10/90 series commitment, it is very unlikely the network will pick up PARTNERS for the back 90 episodes.
