Ratings Review: EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS (Summer 2014)

It has been a rough couple of seasons for ABC, but does it really need to keep EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS on the air, given the low ratings it produces?

This low rated reality series has trouble winning its time period, even against reruns of NCIS. It struggles to get the #3 spot for it's time slot, and it is not even a very competitive night. Since the first season, the viewership has taken a nose dive. ABC may be able to get similar numbers from CASTLE reruns.

For the summer, EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS averaged 3.65 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49. For some reason, the series will be back in the summer of 2015.
