Primetime Cable Ratings: September 3, 2014

Reruns dominate the Wednesday cable ratings as six of the top 10 programs are non-cable originals. THE BIG BANG THEORY places three episodes within the top five, attracting an average of 2.5 million viewers from 9:30 to 11:00 p.m. Back-to-back episodes of AMERICAN DAD take the #6 & #7 spots, grabbing just uner 2.3 million viewers, during the 10:00 p.m. hour.

History was the only network with original programs at the top, lead by the #1 show of the night, AMERICAN PICKERS. the 9 p.m. episode drew 3.2 million viewers, about 1.3 million more viewers than the encore 8 p.m. episode. Closing out the night for the History was AMERICAN RESˇORATION, with 2.1 million viewers.
