Live + 3 Day Released for Tuesday 09/23/14

The C3, or Live + 3 Day. ratings have been released for some of the shows for the second night of the 2014-15 season. Most programs saw significant gains in both viewership and in the A18-49 demographic ratings.  Compared to the network projections, ABC made out the best, with each of the theree series equaling or besting their projections. The network still places third on the night with each program doing no better than tied for second in its respective time slot.

CBS only projects out to 7 day ratings, but had the biggest viewer gain of the night, PERSON OF INTEREST 3.5 million, and the only two programs to top 20 million viewers. But, POI is still tied with new comer FOREVER, in the demo ratings, behind CHICAGO FIRE.

CHICAGO FIRE did fall slightly below projections. The third year series was #3 on the night, in the A18-49 ratings. THE VOICE was above projections, the best A18-49 rating of the night.

FOX was mostly on target with it's L+3 ratings. NEW GIRL and UTOPIA were up a tenth, while THE MINDY PROJECT was right on target. All three shows placed fourth in their respective time slots.
