Final Broadcast Ratings: September 3, 2014

CBS and NBC split leadership on Wednesday night, with CBS taking the young demographics, while NBC drew the most viewers. BIG BROTHERS was the night's top program in the A18-49 ratings, drawing a 2.2 mark. NBC's AMERICA'S GT TALENT was the most watched show, with 10.5 million viewers.

CBS and NBC aired original episodes of their summer series, at 10 p.m., but it was the repeats of MODERN FAMILY, on ABC, that won the last hour of primetime, in the demo ratings. The back-to-back episodes averaged a 1.1 rating, beating both EXTENT and TAXI BROOKLYN. But both those two programs did draw over 5.2 million viewers each.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE limped its way to the season finale, helping FOX tie with NBC in the A18-49 demographic. But, the finale was the lowest rated finale of the series. So, is the series worthy of yet another season?
