Ratings Review: CROSSBONES (Season One)
If you remember, CROSSBONES was originally announced as a series during the NBC upfront presentation, in May, 2012. It was to become a series in early 2013, but delays pushed the series back a full year.
It is too bad NBC did not get behind the series. It had potential to be a strong series, especially on NBC, where good ratings are a challenge. Being dumped on Friday nights, during the summer, gave the series little chance to prosper and thrive.
For the nine episode season, CROSSBONES averaged 2.70 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49.The series is done with and will not be coming back. If you enjoyed this period drama, check out some great cable series like VIKINGS (History), HELL ON WHEELS (AMC) and TURN (AMC).
