Primetime Cable Ratings: August 8, 2014

WWE SMACKDOWN edges past Disney sitcom GIRL MEETS WORLD for Friday night's top draw on cable. The weekly wrestling event collected 2.6 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Despite taking the top spot, the program was down a few thousand viewers, from last week.

GIRL MEETS WORLD was down 300k, in total viewers, from the previous week. The freshman sitcom did have company in the top 10, from other Disney sitcoms. LIVE & MADDIE and I DIDN'T DO IT placed 8th and 9th, respectively.

The rest of the chart was filled by either FULL HOUSE or AMERICAN DAD reruns.
