Primetime Cable Ratings: August 17, 2014

TRUE BLOOD and THE LAST SHIP split leadership in Sunday's cable ratings. TRUE BLOOD's second to last episode, ever, drew a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. That was the top score of the night and was even with the previous week's rating.

THE LAST SHOW was the night's most watched program, grabbing 4.1 million viewers, but that is down a half a million, from last week. Both series will go head-to-head one last time, as both end their seasons next week.

The Little League World Series kicked off to good numbers, for ESPN. the Sunday primetime game placed 6th on the night, with 2.4 million viewers. Last year, the Sunday night game drew just two million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating.
