Preliminary Ratings: Monday 08/18/14

FOX and NBC were the clear leaders in Monday's ratings. Both networks scored a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. But, NBC did have a preemption in Cleveland, for NFL football, so expect their numbers to drop, come final ratings.

The #1 show of the night, in A18-49 ratings, was the veteran cooking series MASTER CHEF, grabbing a 2.0 mark. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR was close with a 1.9 rting, but that could be lower, come finals.

UNDER THE DOME was the night's most watched show of the night getting 7.2 million viewers. That is up 300k, from last week's viewership.

ABC's MISTRESSES took a sharp nosedive, week-to-week. The drama lost 30% in the A18-49 ratings, while only losing a couple hundred thousand in total viewership.

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL had its season premiere, and the ratings are a bit soft. Considering the best possible lead in, ANTM only grabbed 1.2 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. That is down more than 350,000 viewers and 17% in the A18-49 ratings. It really is time to end this series or give a full commitment for a summer only run. The numbers will kill the CW, once the regualr season begins in a month.

CBS - 5.5 million viewers, 1.1 rating in A18-49

CW - 1.5 million viewers, 0.6 rating in A18-49

FOX - 4.9 million viewers, 1.7 rating in A18-49

NBC - 5.5 million viewers, 1.7 rating in A18-49
