Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 08/12/14

ABC was on the spot with their Robin Williams, 20/20 tribute on Tuesday night. The program collected 7.2 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is between 50 and 70 percent better than CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP gets in the same time slot. But, with the shock and interest surrounding the legendary comedian's death, it was only the third most watched program of the  night and just #2 in the demo ratings.

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was the top show of the night, getting 9.6 million viewers and a 2.0 demo rating. That is a slight increase, in viewership, from last week, and even in the A18-49 ratings.

FOOD FIGHTERS and EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS were basically tied for the lead at 8 p.m.. Both shows drew about four million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating.

CBS - 6.3 million viewers, 0.9 rating in A18-49

CW - 0.8 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49

FOX - 1.4 million viewers, 0.6 rating in A18-49

NBC - 7.8 million viewers, 1.7 rating in A18-49
