CBS and NBC split Wednesday night, thanks to their respective reality competition series, BIG BROTHER and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT.
BIG BROTHER was the #1 show of the night, in the A18-49 ratings, grabbing a 2.2 rating. That edged out AGT by a tenth of a point. But, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was, by far, the most watched program of the night, with 10.1 million viewers. AGT drew about 80% more viewers than BIG BROTHER, the second most watched show of the evening.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, the third reality competition series of the night, was a 4th place program in it's time slot. it lost to the ABC comedy encores, plus CBS and NBC lineups. FOX, please give this series a decent burial, now.
TAXI BROOKLYN came close to beating EXTANT in the 10 p.m. hour, drawing a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. EXTANT is down 38% in the demo ratings, since it's premiere, just a few short weeks ago.
PENN & TELLER: FOOL US did well in it's second week, on the CW. the series is down 14% in viewership, but the A18-49 ratings held 100% of the premiere audience. The CW needs to quickly get PENN & TELLER back under contract for another summer run in 2015.
