Final Broadcast Ratings: August 18, 2014

FOX edged out NBC as the leader in Monday's ratings. FOX scored a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC's numbers fell because of a preemption in Cleveland, for NFL football.

The #1 show of the night, in A18-49 ratings, was the veteran cooking series MASTER CHEF, grabbing a 2.0 mark. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR was close with a 1.8 rating.

UNDER THE DOME was the night's most watched show of the night getting 7.3 million viewers. That is up 400k, from last week's viewership.

ABC's MISTRESSES took a sharp nosedive, week-to-week. The drama lost 20% in the A18-49 ratings, while only losing a few hundred thousand in total viewership.

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL had its season premiere, and the ratings are a bit soft. Considering the best possible lead in, ANTM only grabbed 1.1 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. That is down more than 450,000 viewers and 17% in the A18-49 ratings. It really is time to end this series or give a full commitment for a summer only run. The numbers will kill the CW, once the regular season begins in a month.
