Final Broadcast Ratings: August 10, 2014

CBS dominated the Sunday night ratings, thanks to two hour of primetime coverage of a tight PGA Championship. The Major golf tournament drew 8.2 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Rory McIlroy may just be the person that takes the reigns of golf as Tiger Woods continues to struggle with injuries, in recent years. This is McIlroy's 4th Major in the past three years, including the (British) Open Championship, three weeks earlier.

BIG BROTHER, pushed back to 10 p.m., ET, saw the numbers deflate to under 6 million viewers, but did draw a 2.0 demo rating.

FOX had disappointing results form its TEEN CHOICE AWARDS. The two hour awards show aimed to 10-17 year old, pulled in worse numbers than the animated repeats have, in recent weeks. However, the ratings are near identical to the 2013 show.
