CW pulls Monday comedies:
After just two episodes each, the CW has pulled BACKPACKERS and SEED from the network's schedule. Encores will fill the slot until ANTM returns in Mid-August.
AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL moves to Monday nights:
The CW is moving the long running reality series to Monday Nights, for the first six weeks of the season. The move will help fill the void of the two cancelled summer comedies and may give the series some much needed promotion, before returning to Fridays, October 3rd. The new season of ANTM will premiere on August 18th.
THE LATE SHOW to stay in NY:
The Governor of NY and CBS joined together to announce that when Stephen Colbert takes over the reigns of THE LATE SHOW, in 2015, the show will stay put in New York and the Ed Sullivan Theater.
THRONES actress joins RESURRECTION:
Actress Michelle Fairley, of GAME OF THRONES, will be joining the cast of ABC's RESURRECTION, for season two, as a recurring character.
NIGHT MARY being developed for TV:
IDW publishing horror comic book NIGHT MARY is being developed for series television. Universal Cable Productions will produce the series, but no network has been attached to the project.
