The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #95:
Sometimes it only take one program to make a week. FOX rose to the top of the weekly ratings charts with it's coverage of the 2014 MLB All-Star Game, on Tuesday night. The game drew 11.3 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in Adults 18-49, for 3+ hours. With that one event, FOX swept the three demographic categories and finished in second place, in total viewers. The game drew nearly three million more than the #2 show, and a full point more in the A18-49 rating.
FOX only placed four programs in the top 30, but those four shows covered more than one third of the network's schedule. 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY finished 9th, while Gordon Ramsey's two shows MASTER CHEF and HELL'S KITCHEN finished in 21st and 30th spots, respectively.
CBS and NBC battled for the #2 spot, with each network edging the other in each of the categories. But, CBS pushed 16 shows into the top 30, including six in the top 10. NBC had just five top 30 programs, but only AMERICA'S GOT TALENT made the top 15, placeing in the #2 spot.
ABC was a close fourth place network, again. The network's only non-fourth place ranking was in the A18-34 category, when it edged CBS for the #2 spot, tying NBC. The network only placed five shows in the top 30 and just two in the top 20. ABC's top show of the week was THE BACHELORETTE, placing int he #8 spot.
The CW's summer only gets worse with each week. The two new comedies, SEED and BACKPACKERS, pulled in the lowest numbers of the summer, for the network and have already been pulled from the schedule.
