Ratings Review: THE SOUL MAN (Spring 2014)

TV Land original series do not appear to be mass audience draws. THE SOUL MAN  does roughly the same ratings as the network's flagship series, HOT IN CLEVELAND does.

THE SOUL MAN does about what is expected of it. Nothing more, and nothing less. The ratings are consistent,  but the potential is far grater than the end rwsults. A look at the season premiere shows it cna do better. THE SOUL MAN, like other TV Land series, do not have a must see quality to them. They can be watched at anytime that is convenient.

For the season, THE SOU MAN averaged 750,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-49. No word yet on a season 4 pickup, but TV Land does wait a while before making those decisions.
