Ratings Review: ORPHAN BLACK (Season Two)

As a fan of science-fiction series, although I ten to be very picky, I have to remember that even though I hear a lot about a series, and all the "buzz" that surrounds it, ratings tend to not be very good, in most cases. OPRPHAN BLACK is one of those shows.

Quality asides, ORPHAN BLACK is not anything close to being a popular show, here in America. Barely a half a million viewers tune in each week to watch the series. Yet, there are a a small, vocal group of sci-fi fans that churn the buzz into something bigger than what it is.

For the 10 episode season, ORPHAN BLACK averaged 540,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. I may try and catch this series on one of the streaming services, just to see if the hype meets the quality.
