Ratings Review: BELIEVE (Season One)

When you get a post THE VOICE time slot for your series premiere, the pressure is on that series. NBC believed in BELIEVE, but the viewers did not.

Part of the new Sunday night NBC built for the spring, BELIVE's fate looked doomed from the get go. Even though the premiere's numbers looked strong, it lost nearly a third of it's lead in audience and rated below what THE BLACKLIST had done in the slot. The second episode, in it's regular time slot, confirmed the general dissatisfaction of the show and within three episodes, half the audience had left the series, since the premiere episode.

Although there is still one episode still left to be aire, the BELIEVE averaged 4.98 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 12 episodes that did air. No word on if, or when the last episode will see the light of day. but, if you are a fan, you may have to wait until this fall, when the show should hit most streaming services, like Netflix, with the complete series available.
