Primetime Cable Ratings: July 6, 2014

Cable ratings were close to normal on Sunday night as most regular programs were near their average levels. THE LAST SHIP, on TNT, was the most watched show of the night, but was dwon over 500,000 viewers, from the previous week. But, the new action series only dropped one tenth of a ratings point in the A18-49 ratings.

TRUE BLOOD did see a slight rise in both ratings categories, and was the night's top program in the A18-49 ratings, with a 1.7 score. Last week's BET Awards drug down the HBO vampire drama, as the ratings from two weeks ago were nearly a million more viewers and five tenths of a ratings point higher, in the demo ratings, than this week's numbers..
