Complete Nielsen Ratings: June 23 - 29, 2014
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #92:
CBS started it's summer slate of original programs this week and it payed off with the network winning the week in viewers, households and Adults 25-54. The network was also within one tenth of a ratings point of the A18-49 lead and two tenths of a point of the A18-34 title.
CBS placed 16 programs in the top 30, including eight in the top 10 and the top three most watched shows of the week. The premiere week of BIG BROTHER did well, with Wednesday and Thursday making the top 10, and Sunday's episode took the 15th spot. CBS programmed five hours of original programming.
ABC and NBC basically tied for the week, scoring nearly identical numbers in every episode. Between the two networks, they placed 11 shows in the top 30, with ABC getting seven spots. A repeat of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was the top show for NBC, while Friday night's 20/20 was top dog at ABC. ABC gave us 18 hours of new shows, while NBC aired 12 hours of original content.
FOX, still a 4th place network, was the better network in the A18-34 ratings, getting a 0.8 rating. But, all four of the BIG networks, were within two tenths of a ratings point of each other. In viewership, FOX only had three shows make the top 30, with 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY as the most watched, placing 15th. FOX gave us 10 hours of original programming.
The CW had a down week, failing to average over 800,000 viewers. The network ranked as the #6 English language network, and 8th over all. I was kind of hoping to see MeTV and UniMas over take the network, for just one week.
