CW Weekly Ratings: June 23 - 27, 2014

It was a fairly bad week for the CW as eight of the ten hours programmed failed to generate even one million viewers or an A18-49 rating of over a 0.3. Only WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? generated any interest in CW programming.

The lowest point of the week was Thursday night, which is usually on of the network's strongest. Both vampire series fell to draw a half a million viewers and were the worst programs of the week, on the network. It is bad when you can only attract a little over 100k in A18-49 viewers.

The CW's other two programs in original episodes, BEAUTY & THE BEAST and the reality series FAMOUS IN 12, did no better then the repeat programming from other series.Unfortunately, it looks like the CW will ride out FAMOUS IN 12, and air all the episodes.

For the week, the CW averaged 787,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. It will be the #6 English speaking network, behind ION, and just above MeTV. Overall, the CW will be the #8 network in the US, with Univision and Telemundo easily topping it, and a possibility of UniMas fighting it for that #8 spot.
