The big four networks are one big step closer to C7 ratings for ad negotiations. CNBC is abandoning Nielse Ratings for it's daytime programs. And, Premiere dates are coming for NBC and FOX shows.
SLEEPY HOLLOW Premiere Date Set:
The second season premiere of the FOX series SLEEPY HOLLOW is set for September 22 (9pm ET).
Network Ad Rates Start Shift to C7:
The giant ad agency GroupM has agreed with the Big 4 networks to use the C7 (Live+7) ratings to set ad rates for the upcoming TV season. This is the first move of not using the C3 numbers for basis of negotiation and use the cumulative seven day ratings for future negotiations.
WatchESPN Gets Chromcast Support:
Just ahead if this year's world cup, the WatchESPN streaming app will now allow you to cast to a Chromecast device. Also adding Chromcast is Major League Soccer and Crunchyroll.
CNBC to Stop Using Nielsen Ratings:
The financial network CNBC will stop using Nielsen Daytime ratings and will begin using "internal" numbers. A majority of those that watch CNBC in the daytime are busness people, watching the channel out of the home. [LINK]
AMC Networks to Rebrand WE:
The female centric cable network WE will son be rebranded anda refocusing on programming to reach more people, including men. The nework will keeps the WE moniker, but programing will be more for a wider audience.

KING OF THE NERD has been been renewed for a third season by TBS. The season is scheduled for an early 2015 premiere.
