TV News Roundup: June 13, 2014

USA picks up a comedy for a second season. HBO Finds it's NFL team. And, FREAK OUT coming this October. This and more in this morning's TV News Roundup!

USA Renews Sitcom:
Low rated comedy SIRENS was picked up for a second season by USA. Season two will feature 13 new episodes.



FOX Finally Pull Trigger:
After weeks of horribly bad ratings, FOX finally cancelled both RIOT and I WANT TO MARRY HARRY. Both new shows have not only struggled in the ratings, but have barely been above CW repeat programming on the night.



More Country Awards:
FOX will be the broadcast network to air the first AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN AWARDS, set to premiere on December 15, 2014. The awards show is a Dick Clark production.



HBO Finds its Team:
After being rejected by a few of it's first choices, HBO will feature the Atlanta Falcons for this year's HARD KNOCKS series. The firs episode will premiere on August 5, 2014.



Two SyFy Series Swap Time Slots:
SyFy's WIL WHATON PROJECT and HEROES OF COSPLAY are switching time slots, starting next week. Now, WIL WHEATON will air at 9 p.m., while HEROES will take the 10 p.m. slot.



ABC Family FREAKs OUT:
ABC has picked up the reality, hidden camera series FREAK OUT. The series will premiere in October, with a 14 episode order.
