Ratings Review: THE BIG BANG THEORY (Season Seven)

THE BIG BANG THEORY is by far the #1 comedy on TV. Not only are viewers not  getting enough of the show, on CBS, but the series is a huge hit in syndication. TBS regularly a top network with it's 2-3 hour blocks of nightly reruns.

 BIG BANG easily out distances itself in the ratings, by drawing 50% or more viewers, than it's next closed competitor. Getting 17-20 million viewers and a 5.0+ demo rating is a regular occurrence.

The series is also one of, if not THE best performing series in the LIVE+7 ratings. it easily adds four to five, and sometimes six, million viewers and grows between 2.5 to 3.0 ratings points in the A18-49 ratings. Only THE BLACKLIST performs that well, after seven days.

For the season, THE BIG BANG THEORY averages 15.95 million viewers and a 4.4 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 33 airings, including nine repeat episodes. next season BIG BANG will kick off the 2014 season on Monday nights, while THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL airs on CBS. The series will return to Thursdays at the end of October.
