Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 06/04/14

NBC won the night in the A18-49 ratings with game one of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals. The series opener, featuring the two biggest US Markets, drew a respectable 4.5 million viewers and a 1.7 demo rating. Last year's game 1 drew nearly two million more viewers and 47% more in the A18-49 ratings. In the game, LA beat NY 3-2.

Week two of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE held roughly 94% of it's viewers that tuned into the premiere. it helped push FOX past CBS and ABC, taking second in the demo and viewership averages.

ABC's MOTIVE had a nice bump up, from week-to-week. Viewership rose one million viewers and the demo grew by 11%. This is the highest rated episode of the summer season for the second year series.
