Final Broadcast Ratings: June 4, 2014
NBC won the night in the A18-49 ratings with game one of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals. The series opener, featuring the two biggest US Markets, drew a respectable 4.8 million viewers and a 1.9 demo rating. Last year's game 1 drew nearly 1.6 million more viewers and 24% more in the A18-49 ratings. In the game, LA beat NY 3-2.
Week two of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE held roughly 94% of it's viewers that tuned into the premiere. It helped push FOX past CBS and tie ABC for second in viewership and second in the demo averages.
ABC's MOTIVE had a nice bump up, from week-to-week. Viewership rose over one million viewers and the demo grew by 22%. This is the highest rated episode of the summer season for the second year series.
