Final Broadcast Ratings: June 24, 2014

NBC had an easy time sweeping the night in the ratings, even with an encore airing of it's summer hit, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. The repeat episode was in response to the new episode on Sunday night, which was a tactic to mute the series premiere of RISING STAR. With all that, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was the top program of the night, in the A18-49 ratings.

But, a repeat lead in for THE NIGHT SHIFT was not good for their ratings. The freshman drama posted a series low 5.9 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is still better than most new summer dramas get, but a bit disappointing that THE NIGHT SHIFT didn't have the draw to bring viewers in on it's own.

ABC's two reality series were in original episodes, but the ratings are barely better, in the demographic ratings, than the CBS repeats. EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS lost both it's hours to the combined numbers of the two NCIS series.
