PARTNERS for FX:
FX has picked up the new comedy series PARTNERS, starring Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence. The first 10 episodes will begin on August 4th, and if successful, FX will then pick up the back 90 for the series run.
GOOGLE is no Comcast:
Going against the grain, Google has put out the statement that they will not charge content providers for a "fast lane." This is in response to Netflix being charged by Comcast for better services to its customers. Google is for a free and open internet. [LINK]
WE Orders Scripted Thriller:
WE TV has picked up the supernatural series SOUTH OF HELL, for 8 episodes. the series is set for a 2015 premiere.
TBS Picks Renews DEAL WITH IT:
The Howie Mandel reality series DEAL WITH IT will get 10 more episodes for TBS, extending season two of the series. The episodes are expected to air this fall.
