Ratings Review: PERSON OF INTEREST (Season Three)

PERSON OF INTEREST moved to a new night and time for it's third season, filling a hole in the networks schedule that has had a leak for many years. Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. is now owned by POI.

PERSON OF INTEREST is one of the most watched 10 p.m. show on TV, regularly 11 to 12 million viewers on Tuesday nights. The A18-49 ratings stay right around the 2.0 mark. POI has been hit by the spring ratings erosion, losing about 10% of it's viewership during the last couple of moths of the season, but so has every other 10 p.m. series.

The LIVE+7 Ratings for PERSON OF INTEREST is one of the best in TV. I build an additional 4 to 5 million viewers for new episodes and gains another full point, or more, in the A18-49 ratings

For the season, PERSON OF INTEREST averaged 10.42 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 32 airings it had, including 9 repeat episodes. 2014-15 should be more of the same for the series, but it will have an unproven new series as it's lead in. But, with that being an NCIS spin-off, there may not me much need for worry.
