Primetime Cable Ratings: May 8, 2014
The networks of ESPN dominated the Thursday night cable scene, as ESPN2 covered the NBA playoffs and the Flagship network covered the first round of the NFL Draft.
ESPN drew just under 10 million viewers and a 4.6 rating in Adults 18-49. It is the best numbers by ESPN, for the draft and it beat THE BIG BANG THEORY in the demographic ratings. When you add in the NFL Network's coverage of the draft, a total of 12.4 million people tuned in to the event.
Overon "The Deuce" the NBA doubleheader averaged 3.1 million viewers over the night. That is down from most of the games from this second round, but the NFL has that effect on most programming.
