Primetime Cable Ratings: May 20, 2014

ESPN cleaned up on Tuesday night with it's coverage of the NBA Draft Lottery selection show and game one of the Eastern Conference Finals. The lottery show drew a surprising 3.4 million viewers, just to see what draft positions the worst 14 teams will have in the next college draft. But it was the lead in for the playoff game, so there may have been a lot of early tune in for the game, that was added to the lottery show.

Game one of the Eastern Conference Finals hauled in over 7.5 million viewers and a 3.2 demo rating. That is 1.1 million more viewers and a 19% gain in the demo, over the previous night's Western Conference game, on TNT.
