Final Broadcast Ratings: May 29, 2014

Thursday night saw the all-repeat line up of CBS grab the most viewers and battle all original line ups of FOX and NBC for top dog in the A18-49 ratings. Just one tenth of a ratings point separated the three networks.

NBC had the night's lone series premiere with two episodes of the sitcom UNDATEABLE, and by NBC's standards, its a hit! The comedy drew 3.8 million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating for each episode. That is the same number we saw COMMUNITY and PARKS AND REC draw for the last couple of seasons. I doubt we will see UNDATEABLE beyond this summer, but NBC's standards are still low.

LAST COMIC STANDING rebounded from the previous night's horrid ratings to something closer to last Thursday's premiere numbers. Week-to-week, COMIC is down just 750k in total viewers and one tenth of a ratings point in the A18-49 ratings.

Over on FOX, summer drama GANG RELATED saw a small rise in the ratings for week two. 200k more viewers tuned in, including another tenth of a ratings point in the demo. The series is still a major flop, but perhaps word of moth can give it a slow build over the summer.

Despite airing all repeat episodes, CBS had the four most watched shows of the night and the top show in the A18-49 ratings. THE BIG BANG THEORY is a strong draw, no matter if it is original or encore episodes.

CW - 0.8 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49

FOX - 3.8 million viewers, 1.3 rating in A18-49

NBC - 4.9 million viewers, 1.4 rating in A18-49
