CW Weekly Ratings: April 28 - May 2, 2014
It was a bit of ups and down this week for the CW. WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? posted it's worst numbers this season, for an original episode. Just 1.2 million viewers tuned into a nice Friday night to watch improve comedy. It is by no means an indication of losing viewers for good. It is just an indication that when the weather becomes nicer and the sun stays out longer in the day, people do not flock to their TV to watch shows.
Two of the CW series did draw an excess of two million viewers, lead by superhero series ARROW. Also going over the two million level was the network top A18-49 draw, SUPERNATURAL.
For the week, The CW averaged 1.48 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. Next week, we will learn the fate of the network's programs as it's upfront presentation is slated for next Thursday, May 15. Of the shows currently on the air, I can see STAR CROSSED and HART OF DIXIE getting the AX.
