Broadcast Finale Ratings: May 7, 2014

It was a clean sweep by CBS on Wednesday night, winning every hour of the night in both viewership and A18-49 ratings. Only ABC's MODERN FAMILY was able to disrupt CBS, for the first 30 minutes of the 9 p.m. hour.

All three CBS shows were up, week-to-week, Ranging between 5-10%. CBS was the only network that was up week to week, with ABC coming close, but falling short of matching the previous Wednesday's numbers.

FOX and the just renewed AMERICAN IDOL finished second on the night, despite a drop in the ratings. When AI returns next January, do you think the judges table will look completely different?

REVOLUTION was the night's worst rated program, from the Big 4 networks. It drew the smallest audience (3.8 million) and posted the lowest demo rating (1.1).
