Ratings: Broadcast Finals for April 7, 2014

The Championship game of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament was, by far, the top program on TV, on Monday Night. The game drew a strong 21.20 million viewers and a 7.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down from last year's game, which collected 23.4 million viewers and an 8.4 demo rating. Perhaps CBS saw something and is part of the reason why TBS will cover the championship games in alternate years.

With the game dominating the TV schedule, NBC gave us a special airing of the Sunday series AMERICAN DREAM BUILDERS. The 5.1 million is the most to have watched an episode of the series, and could help boost it's Sunday numbers. But don't count on a dramatic increase, if it gets one at all, on Sunday night.

Preliminary Network Averages:
ABC - 12.6 million viewers, 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 5.5 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49
