Complete Nielsen Ratings: March 31 - April 6, 2014
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #100:
It is now three in a row for CBS weekly wins and this time, it did it with the strength of their regularly schedule series. The network dominated the top of the charts with 14 of the top 20, and 18 of the top 30, most watched shows of the week. CBS took the top four spots with THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS, NCIS: LA and the ACM AWARDS, respectively. The HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER series finale finished in 6th place, with over 13.1 million viewers and was the #1 show in the A18-49 ratings.
ABC secured seven program in this week's top 30, lead by DANCING WITH THE STARS, at #5. DWTS was the only ABC entry in the top 15, but ABC did push 11 programs between the 19th and 37 positions. That strong, middle ground, is what helped the network to a #2 overall ranking for the week.
NBC managed just three shows in the top 30, with two editions of THE VOICE (#7 and #8) and THE BLACKLIST (#11). It next highest ranked program was the new sitcom ABOUT A BOY, at #33.
FOX is still a mess as a very weak AMERICAN IDOL is the networks lone two top 40 shows, each placing below the top 20. Right now, FOX has not hit TV programs on the air.
The CW had a poor ratings week, with 45% of it's schedule in repeats. It did manage to inch past ION for the #5 spot.
