The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #100:
It was a week of split leadership as CBS was the most watched network and in more households, while ABC takes the three age demographics. NBC places second in all five reported categories and FOX, still the #4 network, does tie for second in the A18-34 category.
CBS had the #1 program of the week, THE BIG BANG THEORY, as it drew more then 3.5 million more viewers than the #2 program, THE VOICE. In Even with the strong Tuesday night lineup in repeats, CBS placed 18 shows in the top 30, more than the others combined.
ABC had another strong week as RESURRECTION had a strong showing for it's second episode. ABC is now the network to beat on Sunday nights, as two of the three dramas placed in the top 30. ABC had seven total shows in the top 30.
NBC is getting better with it's series programming. It was a close second in four of the five categories. But it is still a little top heavy. It placed three programs in the top 10 (THE VOICE x 2, BELIEVE) but that is also the same number of shows in the top 30. But the middle of the pack looks better for the network. Right now, it is only the Thursday night lineup that that is under performing, as a whole.
FOX is still having problems, and will have them until the summer, at the earliest, There are just too many issues for FOX to solve in one or two moves. It has improved it's Thursday nights, with the earlier than usual season premiere of HELL'S KITCHEN (#51). But Tuesday and Friday nights, just plain suck and IDOL could end up with the same fate as THE X FACTOR. It will be a long 2014 for FOX is the development slate is another weak offering.
The CW had 60% of it's line up in repeats and struggled to edge ION for the #5 position in most categories.
