Primetime Cable Ratings: February 6, 2014
Reality TV dominates the Cable TV scene on Thursday night as every original cable series on the chart, a total of six, is of previously mentioned genre. The nightly leader, PAWN STARS, grabbed three spots, including #1 and #2. Those two episode averaged 4.1 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating during the 9 p.m. hour. That is up over last weeks numbers and a bit of a surprise considering the first night of Olympic coverage, on NBC.
It looks like Disney is bringing out the big theatrical movies as counter programming to the Winter Games. First out was THE LITTLE MERMAID and it brought in 2.6 million viewers, finishing in 5th place on the night.
