Primetime Cable Ratings: February 20, 2014
NBA basketball was king of the Thursday night cable chart as the TNT presentation collected 3.8 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. It is the first strong performance we have seen from TNT's NBA coverage since the opening week, or two, of the season, back in early November.
Basketball was not the only sport to have good ratings, as the NASCAR Daytona Duels pushed FOX Sports 1 to the #3 spots. The twin races, leading up to Sunday's Daytona 500, drew over 3.1 million viewers. Sunday's race, which kicks off the 2014 NASCAR season, will air on the mother network, FOX.
