Not much of a surprise or change, from last week, as NBC dominated the weekly ratings, again, with the second, and last week of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. The networks produced nine separate programs for the week, with eight, all Olympics coverage, taking the top spots. The last NBC program, the premiere of GROWING UP FISHERS, placed 19th.

The most watched day of week two of the Olympics was Monday night, when 23.6 million viewers tuned in. The last three days of coverage were the least viewed, with Sunday's coverage, before the closing ceremonies, drew just 12.7 million viewers. We hope to push out our Ratings Review on the Olympic games, by the end of the week.

The remaining four networks all saw ratings increase over last week, with FOX being the biggest gainer. The network swept 2nd place in all the reported categories, thanks to three nights of AMERICAN IDOL and a special rain delayed, primetime coverage of the Daytona 500. The four programs, representing nearly half the FOX schedule, each placed in the top 20 for the week.

CBS did place the most shows in the top 30, with 12, but saw just slight gains for the week. CRIMINAL MINDS and CSI did make the top 15, as the two series aired original episodes. CRIMINAL MINDS was off from it's season average, but CSI performed near normal levels at 10 p.m.

ABC was still a distant 4th place, despite airing original episodes for three of it's stronger shows. The Monday night block of THE BACHELOR and CASTLE placed 21st and 20th, respectively, while SHARK TANK took the 28th position. The network should see the biggest percentage gains next week as not only will everything return to original episodes, but the return of GREY'S ANATOMY, SCANDAL and ONCE UPON A TIME from winter hiatus should pump the numbers up.

The CW did rise above last week's season low numbers, but it was still mostly repeat programming for the mini-network. New series STAR CROSS did perform relatively weel, getting two good nights of sampling for the series.
