Complete Nielsen Ratings: February 10 - 16, 2014
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #81:
It comes as no surprise that NBC swept, dominated, won the week in all Nielsen categories with it's full week of presenting the 2014 Winter Olympics, from Sochi, Russia. The network easily took the top seven spots, with Tuesday, February 11 being the most watched night, drawing 23.8 million viewers. Ratings are up when you compare to the 2006 Torin games, when all primetime coverage was tape delayed because of the time differences.
With the event coverage, NBC has taken a commanding lead in the A18-49 season-to-date ratings, with a 3.1 mark. FOX is second with a 2.8 and CBS is 3rd with a 2.6.
Of the other four networks, FOX is the only one that is still scheduling original episodes against the games. Not that there has been a lot of success with it, but AMERICAN IDOL is still drawing numbers similar to the week before the Olympics began.
With exception to the two news magazines, everything on CBS was a repeat, yet it collected the most shows in the top 30, with 17. But, what was left was just scraps, so not so much a huge deal.
ABC is still finishing in 4th, with or without some original programming. THE BACHELOR was its only show to get any real traction, placing 14th on the week.
The CW dropped to its lowest rated week of the season as everything was in repeats and airing on alternate nights. The only bright spot may have been WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY doing just as good, if not slightly better, in repeats than what THE CARRIE DIARIES did in original episodes.
