Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 9, 2014

Thursday night's lowest rated original program, THE ASSETS, is no more. After getting less than three million viewers for it's second episode, ABC has cancelled the limited runs series. Filling the time slot until SCANDAL returns will be repeat of SHARK TANK.

CBS was the dominate network on the night, surging well past last week's ratings. On avaerage, the network rose an average of one million viewers and 11% in the A18-49 ratings. THE BIG BANG THEORY was the top program of the night, but THE MILLERS was the largest gainer. The freshman sitcom grew two million viewers and 18% in the demo ratings, over last week's episode.

NBC saw some minor gains over last week as each of the three comedies from last week saw sligh gains in the ratings. The return of PARKS & REC even looked relatively decent with demo growth out of COMMUNITY. But, lets not get carried away. The average of the four comedies averaged less than 3.5 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. It is still a bad line up for NBC.

ABC - 4.0 million viewers, 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49

CBS - 12.1 million viewers, 3.0 rating in Adults 18-49

CW - 1.0 million viewers, 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 2.4 million viewers, 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 3.6 million viewers, 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49
