Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 29, 2014

FOX continues to be the #1 network on Wednesday nights, as AMERICAN IDOL dropped just 5%, in the A18-49 ratings, from the previous week. Even total viewership was down just about a half a million viewers. This is a good sign that the series may be stabilizing and found it's footing in the TV audience.

The remaining three BIG 4 networks scrapped for the rest of the broadcast viewers as just three tenths of a ratings, in the demo ratings, separated them. NBC was all original on the night an managed just a 1.7 average, while CBS aired repeats from 9 to 11 p.m., plus an 8 p.m. special, and posted a 1.4 rating. ABC aired two hours of originals for thir 1.5 demo rating.

ABC - 5.2 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49
CBS - 7.7 million viewers, 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49
CW - 2.3 million viewers, 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49
FOX - 12.7 million viewers, 3.8 rating in Adults 18-49
NBC - 6.5 million viewers, 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49
