Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 25, 2014

Like most Saturday nights in the winter and spring, viewership was low for the night. Just two programs managed to attract over four million viewers, both on CBS. FOX's coverage of the UFB bout did grab decent numbers in the A18-49 ratings, but the 1.5 rating is down 29% from a UFC fight, one year earlier. The UFC is a good alternative and could grow into a nice Saturday night package, if FOX would commit to a weekly schedule.

NBC's Shaun White special didn't click with viewers, despite being just two weeks from the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Russia. But, then again, the audience that would watch Shaun White are, more than likely, not home watching TV on a Saturday night.
