Ratings Review: FOX Mondays - November Sweeps

During the November sweeps, FOX transitioned its 8 p.m. slot from the veteran crime series BONES to the new sic-fi crime series ALMOST HUMAN. Early results look as if the transition was not a good one.
It only took the second week of ALMOST HUMAN to pull ratings below what BONES delivered on a pretty consistent basis. The week four numbers indicate the lower ratings by ALMOST HUMAN hurt SLEEPY HOLLOW, which drew it's worst ratings ever. The premiere of ALMOST HUMAN, which aired on Sunday, Nov. 17, drew a strong 9.2 million viewers and a 3.0 demo rating. It has already lost 1/3 of its total viewers and A18-49 viewers.

SLEEP HOLLOW had been stabilized in the range of 7 million viewers and a mid-two in the A18-49 ratings. It has been a surprise hit for FOX, which has struggled this season. Hopefully ALMOST HUMAN will not kill the series. If it can survive that, it is cleared for a 2014-15 season return.
