Ratings Archives: Week of April 13, 1998

The CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie THE ECHO OF THUNDER was the week's #3 program, finishing just behind original episodes of ER and SEINFELD. The movie, starring Judy Davis and Jamey Sheridan collected 24 million viewers and a 16.4 household rating.  The ABC and NBC Sunday movies, combined, did not draw the interest or audience THE ECHO OF THUNDER brought in.

The FOX Tuesday night movie, TORNADO!, fell flat with just 7 million viewers and a 5 HH rating. That is just slightly off the movies & specials the network had been airing on the night, in recent weeks. The film stared Bruce Campbell, Shannon Sturges and Ernie Hudson.

NBC won the week with a 9.1 rating, followed by CBS with an 8.3. ABC edges FOX 6.8 to 6.6 respectively, while the WB and UPN tied with a 2.8 mark.

The week's five least watched programs were:

3) THE PARENT 'HOOD (WB) - 3.1 million
3) SMART GUY (WB) - 3.1 million
2) YOU'RE THE ONE (WB) - 3.0 million
