Primetime Cable Ratings: December 1, 2013

THE WALKING DEAD drew over 12 million viewers for it's mid-season finale, on Sunday. A strong showing for the series, but is below it's season average of around 13 million. If you have yet to watch the finale, do so now. It is a very tense and entertaining finale for the show.

TALKING DEAD rose to the occasion holding on to 50% of the DEAD audience. with 6 million viewers, it is it's best ratings of the season, including the season premiere, back in October.

Normally, awards shows do well in the ratings, but THE SOUL TRAIN AWARDS went up against the DEAD. Taking 3rd place, the special hauled in 4.1 million viewers and a solid 1.6 demo rating. Had THE WALKING DEAD finale not aired on the night, I am sure ratings would have been a lot better for the STAs.
