Ratings Review: CW Thursdays - November Sweeps

Thursday nights on the CW is one of the more stable nights for the network. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is still the #1 show for the CW, in the A18-49 ratings. As we can see below, a 1.3 rating in the demographic is a regular occurrence.

The new series REIGN looks to be gaining, ever so slightly, a following for the historical piece. Each week of the sweeps month it built upon its previous audience. With a little more growth, I could easily see REIGN eventually topping the NBC comedies by March, 2014.

The CW had a relatively good sweeps month on Thursday nights. Had NBC not thrown two weeks of special programming, in place of PARKS & REC, we could have been writing about how The CW beat NBC during the November sweeps.
