Ratings Review: 2013 WORLD SERIES
FOX's exclusive coverage of the 2013 World Series was a hit with viewers. The six game series was up year-to-year, in all male and adult demo graphics, by double digits, including 16% in Adults 18-34, with a 3.7 rating.
In the markets of the two teams competing in the World Series, the Boston TV market averaged a 39.6 household rating and a 60 share, while the St. Louis Market drew a 40.6 rating and a 60 share.
Game 6 of the series was the highest rated baseball game since game 7 of the 2011 World Series.
One last stat that FOX sent out with its press release is that this is the first time, since 2011, that all of the big MLB events (All-Star Game, Divisional Series, League Championship Series and the World Series) each posted ratings game from the previous year.
