Ratings: Broadcast Finals for October 30, 2013

Game six of the 2013 World Series turned out to be the last and most watched game of the series as the Boston Red Sox won the series 4 games to 2 games. The clincher drew 19.2 million viewers and a solid 5.7 rating in Adults 18-49. It is the highest rated baseball game since Game 7 of the 2011 fall classic. For the series, fox saw year-to-year double digit growth in almost all measured categories, including 17% in both total viewers and Adults 18-49.

A majority of the night saw week-to-week loses, mainly from viewers switching to watch the World Series. LAW & ORDER and MODERN FAMILY too the night off for repeat episodes. CBS was down every hour of the night. Outside of the World series, CBS did have the next three most watched programs and two of the top three higher rated programs in the demo ratings.
